boss bridal is longtime hairdresser, Holly Taylor Kottwitz’s newest project. She’s been in the business since 1996 and women’s hair has been her full time constant ever since. She LOVES your hair! no seriously, she does! Specializing in color corrections, balayage, long hair, blondes, haircuts, braids, you name it. Weddings and runway shows have always been her favorite though, Doing nearly 1000 bride’s hair throughout the years.

Born and raised in Colleyville Texas, Holly studied her craft at Toni & guy hairdressing academy in nearby Carrollton in 1996. Followed by her apprenticeship at the studio salon in the four seasons resort in los colinas. Still a teenager she was blessed to do quite a few celebs hair but the coolest thing she says was going up to the Presidential Suite and dolling up the First Lady of the United States.

Following thereafter, Holly was a lead designer at La Plaza Wellness Centre and Salon in her hometown of Colleyville where she thrived for many years, but Austin was calling her name. So off she went to start from scratch in a new city. She paid her dues, built a loyal client base and in 2010 She won Austin Citysearch’s Best Highlight and Best Blowout in The city:)!

she’s been working for herself since 2012 and Currently you can find her studio located within the Salon Lofts on S. Lamar in the 78704. It’s really a neat place and her studio is beautiful and private.
